The Newtown Forest Association has been in existence for over 100 years and is the largest privately owned land trust in the state of Connecticut. Since 1924, they have been dedicated to the preservation of Newtown’s open spaces and natural beauty. With over 1,400 acres of protected land, they are able celebrate a century of stewarding one of Newtown’s greatest assets.
